Business Development Executive (Alliances & Partnership )

Glint is India’s first hyperlocal company for auto care based out of Chennai. From providing doorstep car maintenance for our customers till working closely with India’s top unicorns. We’ve created a new category of car services with cutting-edge software and best-in-class operating procedures that enables hassle free car maintenance.

Roles and responsibilities

Glint requires Business development executives (Field sales) to expand the presence of Chennai’s No. 1 hyperlocal car cleaning services at doorstep. The BDE is a key part of the early team who will focus on adding value to Glint by extending its accounts to company partners :

  • Focus on forming alliances for GLINT with well established local & regional brands, chain shops, public places and public forums where strong customer footfall is expected. The target audience of Glint i.e. car owners.

  • Identifying events and activities where good footfall is expected where services of Glint can be showcased 

  • Tie-up with various touch points such as Restaurants, Shopping Complexes, Gym, Saloons etc which are frequented by potential customers

  • Collaborate with corporates for alliances 

  • The main objective of an alliance manager is to increase long-term revenue as well as performance of the company.

  • Key is to identify multiple channels which will give a constant flow of high quality potential leads which can be converted into customers. 



Driving new business opportunities:

  1. Identifying, negotiating and closing new business opportunities.
  2. Establishing strong relationships with targeted clients and partners resulting in increased business opportunities.
  3. Develop & strategize products, services and strategic roadmap to enable more business to be won.
  4. Developing and maintaining strong client relationships
  5. Identifying and building relationships with key decision makers within potential client organizations and funders.
  6. Researching and building relationships with new clients (Apartments, Car-dealerships, corporate establishments, startups, workspaces etc.).
  7. Coordinating and supporting communication plans for enhanced visibility and influence with targeted audiences.

The best first for us : 

  1. Experience in business development, field sales, business alliance for at least 1-3 years is a must. 
  2. Any graduate or postgraduate degree candidate will be a fit. Candidates with an MBA will be a brownie point. 
  3. Good oral and written English communication and presentation skills. Local Language i.e. Tamil is also required. 
  4. Excellent negotiation, relationship management and collaboration skills.
  5. Excellent organizational skills with a willingness to assume responsibilities to deliver against targets.
  6. Must have 2 wheeler with License
  7. Candidates who are flexible to travel will be required.
