Merative is now searching for a Senior Cúram Business Consultant to join our team!



As a senior Cúram Business Consultant on the Merative Services team, you will have significant responsibility in the delivery of Curam project implementations.

Working closely with clients, systems integration partners and Merative teams, at our project sites, you will have responsibility to provide business architecture guidance and act as a subject matter expert (SME) and advisor, in support of the delivery of Case Management solutions using the Curam platform.

Essential Job Duties:  

 

  • Uses their experience and influence to advise and guide the project (i.e. client, SI, team) on the appropriate usage of the Cúram features and functionalities to meet their business objectives 

  • Acts as a mentor and advisor to project resources and client leadership on both the business solution design and the art of the possible to meet client business objectives 

  • Leads strategic discussions on requirement elaboration and solution business architecture. 

  • Facilitates design thinking workshops (or JAD sessions) with various stakeholder groups to ensure needs are understood and Curam out of the box features and functions are best leveraged.   

  • Works with business to inform and contribute to the overall product vision and backlog capture and communicate the business solution design, including Cúram product configurations, extensions and integrations across all project stakeholders. 

  • Serves as a conduit between project technical staff and client subject matter experts during solution design, prototyping, delivery, test, training and deployment.  

  • Build a high level of trust and confidence with partners and clients and of proposed solutions. 

  • Provides leadership and oversight to the business solutions design team 

 

 

 

Basic Qualifications (minimum requirements needed to perform this job)  

 

  • At least 8 years’ experience in a Business (IT) systems analyst/consulting role 

  • At least 5 years of Social Service enterprise Management experience in public sector/government and core functionality or associated business processes of Human services programs - such as social welfare, children services, income support, employment services or other public sector human services related field. 

  • At least 5 years of Cúram implementation experience, preferably with certification in latest version of Cúram. 

  • Practical experience in creating and presenting screen designs - storyboarding, user journey maps, conceptual models and flow diagrams 

  • Demonstrated experience (or proof of relevant training) leading Design Thinking or Joint Application Design (JAD) sessions 

  • Experience working with Agile and/or remote/complex delivery teams 

  • Readiness to travel 75% travel annually 

  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills. 

 

Preferred Skills 

  • Ability to plan and conduct user research, usability testing and competitor analysis 

  • 1+ year experience conducting design thinking workshops  

  • Candidates with Canadian Reliability Security Clearance 

  • CBAP/TOGAF or equivalent certifications. 

  • Bilingual proficiency - English and French 

  • Experience leading a team of BA’s. 

  • Looking for 5+ years' experience working in Canada to obtain the necessary Govt. clearance.
