Job Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of Proven experience as a Construction Estimator or in a similar role within the construction industry. 
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and estimating methodologies. 
  • Proficiency in using estimating software and tools, with experience in data entry and management. 
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with strong attention to detail.

Core responsibilities:

  • Perform estimating duties for construction projects by analyzing project specifications, plans, and requirements. 
  • Input measurements and related data into estimating systems to generate accurate cost estimates and project budgets. 
  • Manage general correspondence to support the back office team, ensuring timely and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain quotes for materials and services needed for construction projects.
  • Draft and submit order forms, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project specifications and timelines.
  • Review and verify supplier quotes and proposals, making recommendations to the project management team as needed. 
  • Assist in the preparation of reports and documentation related to estimating processes and project costs. 
  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other team members to ensure alignment on project objectives and timelines.
