Job Description
We’re seeking a sharp, creative, and strategic Brand Copywriter to join our marketing team. In this role, you’ll lead the charge in crafting compelling copy across our most critical user-facing surfaces—email, product, and web. You’ll shape and scale doola’s brand voice, accelerate the speed and quality of copy development, and ensure every customer touchpoint tells a clear, cohesive, and engaging story.

You’ll partner cross-functionally with product, design, and marketing to bring new features to life, onboard users, and drive conversion through messaging that’s as effective as it is delightful.

This is a high-impact, high-visibility role that requires both big-picture brand thinking and meticulous execution.

Key Responsiblities
  • Own all brand copywriting across emails, onboarding, and in-product flows.
  • Translate complex product concepts into simple, engaging messaging that drives action.
  • Define, document, and scale a distinct, consistent brand voice across all touchpoints.
  • Partner with Product, Design, and Growth teams to write emails, web pages, product launches, and marketing materials.
  • Build a brand messaging framework that enables other teams to move faster and write better.
  • Use copy to improve conversion performance, guide user behavior, and deepen customer engagement.

  • Skills and Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in copywriting roles, with a strong portfolio of lifecycle emails and product copy.
  • Background in brand strategy, UX writing, or product marketing.
  • Deep understanding of using copy to move users through their lifecycle, empathizing with the customers’ perspective and balancing the company goals.
  • Strong editing and revision skills, with a passion for clarity, brevity, and impact.
  • Familiarity with tools like Figma, Notion, and Google Docs.
  • Strong async communication skills and comfort working independently.


  • Bonus Qualifications
  • Experience owning messaging or brand tone across an organization or product.
  • Experience in SaaS, B2B, or early-stage startup environments.
  • Familiarity with lifecycle platforms like Customer.io or Braze.
  • Ability to interpret and act on performance data to improve messaging.
