Key responsibilities:

Conduct thorough audits of inpatient medical records to ensure accurate coding and compliance with regulations.

Provide feedback and education to coding staff based on audit findings.

Collaborate with healthcare providers to clarify documentation and coding issues.

Prepare and present audit reports to management and recommend improvements.
