At EasyLlama, we are not just transforming compliance training—we are challenging the status quo. We have a strong culture of collaboration, innovation, and getting things done.

About the Role

As a Senior Product Designer, you’ll lead the user experience direction for an ambitious and fast-paced multi-product platform strategy at EasyLlama, one of the highest-rated workplace training platforms.

As the first Design hire in the firm, you’ll be involved in the entire product development process from research, to creating a vision, to iterating on experiences for launch. As a leader on the cross-functional team, you’ll have a lot of opportunity to influence strategy at the team and project level.

This role requires a unique blend of SaaS, multi-product platform and design system expertise to ensure our growing workplace training platform experience is engaging, intuitive, and seamless for admins and the millions of their workplace learners of all backgrounds.

About the Team

Our mission is to empower people-centered organizations to create safe and productive workplaces. In support of that mission, you’ll work closely with product managers, engineers, product marketers, and executive stakeholders to define and articulate a holistic platform design and cross-product growth vision, while partnering cross-functionally to ensure that the development of your work is effective, and inspiring.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with the other members of the leadership team to define a long-term UX vision for our platform, and how it aligns to EasyLlama’s broader strategic mission.

  • Co-lead the definition of product strategy, roadmap, functional OKRs, and project direction.

  • Work with other senior cross-functional partners in User Research, Product Management, Product Marketing, and Customer Support to understand customer problems and identify key opportunities for the customer and our business.

  • Ship both new and iterative projects that deliver consistent value to our customers.

  • Evangelize and share your knowledge with internal, and contracting design partners.

  • Define and champion our design system and platform standards, and help evolve them through your work.

  • Collaborate with the marketing and go-to-market teams to ensure product & brand design consistency

Basic Qualifications & Experience
  • 8+ years of software product design experience, preferably in B2B SaaS. Bonus if you’ve worked in domains related to Workplace Training, edTech, or Learning & Development.

  • Builder mindset: You have demonstrated experience as an individual contributor and design leader at the product or group level, and can articulate how you’ve set direction and built alignment through your design work.

  • Value-Driven with Self-Service Experience: You’ve led the design of approachable, product-led growth (PLG) and freemium products in complex domains.

  • Product acumen: This role will contribute directly to business and product strategy. You should be comfortable working with executive stakeholders, and be able to demonstrate how you’ve shaped business decisions.

  • Superior quality bar: This role will be a tireless advocate for our customers’ experience. You should be able to demonstrate how you’ve maintained design quality while shipping iteratively to deliver customer value early and often, and in partnership with lean Development teams.

Requirements
  • A competitive and polished portfolio, showcasing superior and pixel-perfect product design examples, as well as design system(s).

  • Near the end of the interview process, we will assign a small and concise test project, which will require basic wireframing and a formal walkthrough of the deliverable - the purpose of this exercise is to showcase your design superpowers!

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with AI-driven learning experiences, interactive/adaptive learning, or gamification.

  • Startup and scaling experience, with comfort and excellence in fast-paced production alongside intentional design craft.

  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies and product development lifecycle best practices.
