ABOUT THE ROLE  
As the Senior Digital Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for managing the performance of our training resources portfolio, which is comprised of 4 brands. You will lead a team of (currently) 5 marketing professionals specialising in email marketing, digital advertising, social media, conversion rate optimisation, content writing and graphic design.   


Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you will be part of a large marketing department, working closely with the SEO, Product Marketing, Web Dev and Project Management teams to implement promotional strategies and optimise performance.  


YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES   
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators, proactively investigating and diagnosing where targets have not been met 
  • Working with the Head of Marketing, contribute to the strategy and oversee the execution of: 
Website Optimisation: 
  • Design and implement A/B tests to improve conversion rates and click-through performance. 
  • Research best practices in Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO) and analyse case studies to identify actionable strategies for driving results. 
Social Media:  
  • Develop and manage a strategic social media calendar to increase brand awareness and drive lead generation. 
  • Stay informed about the latest social media trends and recommend innovative approaches to optimise channel performance and audience engagement. 
Creative Strategy: 
  • Ensure creative output is innovative and engaging while maintaining consistency with brand guidelines. 
Email Campaigns: 
  • Develop fresh, innovative content angles and ensure all emails are proofread and meet high-quality standards through a thorough QA process. 
Digital Advertising:  
  • Optimise digital advertising performance on Google Ads, Microsoft Ads and LinkedIn, to generate quality leads and increase overall advertising performance. 
Reporting and Performance Monitoring:  
  • Proactively monitor performance, analyse metrics, and provide insights recommending ways to optimise and improve overall performance. 
  • Monitor team performance to ensure productivity and KPIs are being met. 
Innovation:  
  • Drive continuous innovation across all advertising strategies and initiatives. 
  • Stay up to date with the latest changes and developments on each advertising platform, including algorithm updates, emerging trends, and new features. 
  • Provide proactive recommendations on campaign structures, advert types, and creative formats to enhance campaign performance and achieve better ROI. 
  • Experiment with new technologies, tools, and methodologies to optimise targeting, audience segmentation, and bid strategies. 
  • Regularly analyse competitor activities and industry benchmarks to identify opportunities for differentiation and improvement. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to incorporate innovative approaches into broader marketing strategies, ensuring a cohesive and forward-thinking approach.  
  • Coach, mentor and motivate your team and help each member achieve their key performance indicators.  

ESSENTIAL – you must possess these skills: 

We are after an analytically minded marketing generalist with experience in the following areas: 

  • 5+ years' digital marketing experience including: 
    • LinkedIn social media management 
    • Google Ads 
    • Copywriting 
    • Email marketing 
  • 3+ years leadership experience 
    • Highly analytical mindset with the ability to identify, diagnose and resolve performance issues 
    • Experience using GA4 for data analysis (bonus if you have experience building custom dashboards/reports) 

 

DESIRABLE – bonus if you have experience with: 

  • Website conversion rate optimisation and running A/B tests 
  • Developing SEO-driven content marketing strategies 
  • Using Ahrefs, Active Campaign, Google Data Studio, Google Tag Manager and/or Zoho Analytics
  • Leading brand strategy and/or a creative team
  • Project management
  • And have Google Ads certification
