Job description

Schedule: Monday – Friday (7:00 AM - 4:00 PM PHT)

What are we looking for? 

Skills Required:  

  • Experience with .NET-based CMS platforms like Xperience by Kentico, Optio, Umbraco or Sitecore.
  • .NET Core / C# development experience
  • Azure DevOps & cloud services (App Services, Logic Apps, B2C, etc.)
  • Front-end knowledge (React, HTML5, SCSS, TypeScript)
  • DevOps practices like CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and monitoring
  • Security best practices and understanding of authentication, authorization, and encryption

What will you do?

Major Purpose of the Position:

Responsible for the technical configuration, development, maintenance, and optimisation of the CMS platform to ensure the website infrastructure, integrations, and enhancements support effective content delivery and user experience.

CMS Configuration and Technical Administration

  • Configure and maintain CMS platform to support content management and system stability.
  • Create and manage user roles to ensure secure, appropriate access across teams, maintaining system integrity and security.
  • Apply and maintain themes and structural updates to align with branding and design guidelines, ensure accessibility and enhance usability.
  • Ensure web security by managing SSL certificates, applying security patches, and monitoring for threats to prevent vulnerabilities.
  • Ensure compliance with data protection laws and standards to safeguard user data and maintain ethical content management practices.
  • Utilise tools like Google Analytics to track site performance, monitor user engagement, and assess content effectiveness and use insights to inform continuous improvements.

Development and technical enhancements

  • Work with the Digital Content Manager (website product owner) and business stakeholders to scope and implement technical solutions that enhance site functionality and user experience.
  • Prepare and/or review technical documentation, considering architectural and programmatic aspects of the solution.
  • Develop and configure features, website enhancements, and integrations using best practice approaches.
  • Liaise with vendors, partners, and third-party service providers for delivery and support.
  • Follow appropriate internal processes, as well as established industry standards for application coding, documentation, and code management.

DevOps delivery

  • Follow processes, and industry standards for development and code management.
  • Ensure best practice security controls for systems.
  • Continuously assesses capabilities, tools, and processes to improve DevOps maturity for customer experience improvements.

Applications and Service Desk Support

  • Provide application support for products and services as per SLAs.
  • Provide on-call or after-hours support for systems and services as and when necessary.
  • Monitor the performance and availability of systems, promptly identifying and addressing potential issues to ensure business continuity.
  • Create and maintain support documentation, user guides, and knowledge base articles to empower users and streamline support processes.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and efficiency gains in application support and management.
