Social Commerce Expertise: Proven success managing content and sales through TikTok Shop, including knowledge of shop setup, algorithm preferences, and compliance to avoid account strikes. Beauty Industry Experience (Preferred): Familiarity with DTC beauty brands or e-commerce product lines like eyelashes, skincare, or feminine wellness. Comfortable targeting American beauty consumers. Platform Fluency: Demonstrated knowledge of Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok posting strategies, content scheduling, and audience targeting tools. Experience with paid ads and organic tactics. UGC & Influencer Savvy: Experience collaborating with micro-influencers and UGC creators for product placement and brand awareness campaigns, particularly within TikTok and Instagram ecosystems. Creative & Technical Skills: Proficiency in Canva or equivalent design tools, and basic video editing capabilities. Able to create aesthetic, branded content that performs. Independent & Collaborative: Self-starter with the ability to manage their own content calendar and present ideas proactively, while also being responsive to founder direction and new opportunities.
Core responsibilities:
Multi-Platform Content Strategy: Develop and execute engaging content strategies for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and TikTok Shop to drive traffic to Amazon, Walmart, and the brand’s Shopify store. TikTok Shop Integration: Launch and manage TikTok Shop with an emphasis on product visibility, sales optimization, compliance, and leveraging UGC creators to build traction without heavy reliance on paid ads. Campaign Development & Execution: Lead cross-platform marketing campaigns highlighting product bundles like lashes and refreshing towels; schedule optimized daily posts and stories based on platform trends and peak engagement times. Product Visibility Boosting: Use platform-specific SEO and trending hashtags to increase discoverability of products across Amazon, Walmart, and Shopify channels. Collaborate with influencers or creators to maximize reach and sales. Analytics, Reporting & Insights: Track and report performance metrics (impressions, clicks, conversions) across all social platforms. Provide recommendations based on audience behavior and product trends. Brand Consistency & Uplift: Ensure visual and tonal consistency of all digital touchpoints, incorporating luxury beauty aesthetics that reflect the brand’s Caribbean roots and American audience.
