Position: Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO)

Location: Remote / Hybrid (India)

Role Overview

As CHRO, you will work directly with the CEO and executive team to drive strategic HR initiatives, build strong organizational capabilities, and foster a culture aligned with our mission and values. You will oversee Talent Acquisition, Performance Management, Learning & Development, Compensation & Benefits, and Employee Experience.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership:
  • Design and execute HR strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to the leadership team on all people-related matters.

 

Culture & Employee Experience:

 

Champion a high-performance, inclusive, and values-driven culture.

 

Drive initiatives around DEI, mental well-being, and employee engagement.

 

 

Talent Management:

 

Lead workforce planning, succession planning, and leadership development.

 

Oversee recruitment strategy to hire top-tier talent at scale.

 

Performance & Development:

  • Implement goal-setting, performance reviews, and continuous feedback systems.
  • Foster a culture of learning through L&D programs and career growth paths.

 

 

Compensation & Compliance:

  • Define and manage compensation structures, benefits, and equity plans.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and HR best practices.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in Human Resources; minimum 3 years as a senior HR leader.
  • Proven experience in scaling teams and leading HR in fast-paced, tech-driven or growth-stage companies.
  • Strong understanding of modern HR tech tools, talent analytics, and remote-first culture strategies.
  • Exceptional leadership, empathy, and communication skills.
  • MBA in HR or related field is preferred.
