About the role

This position seeks an experienced WordPress Website Developer with a strong background in creating pixel-perfect websites from Figma designs using popular WordPress page builders such as Bricks and Oxygen. Responsibilities include building, maintaining, and supporting websites, creating landing pages, and managing client sites under a care plan. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and collaborative, with a focus on enhancing clients' digital presence.

Responsabilities

Website Development

Translate Figma designs into pixel-perfect, responsive WordPress websites using page builders like Bricks and Oxygen.
Develop custom functionality and layouts to meet client requirements.
Ensure websites meet industry best practices for speed, security, and accessibility.

Website Maintenance & Support

Editing existing websites.
Creating and optimizing landing pages.
Manage and update client websites under the Website Care Plan.
Monthly WordPress core, plugin, and theme updates.
Troubleshooting website issues and resolving errors promptly.

Domain and Hosting Management

Manage DNS records through Cloudflare for domain configuration and email deliverability.
Set up and troubleshoot SMTP settings to ensure form submission leads are delivered to clients accurately.

Technical SEO Implementation

Collaborate with the SEO specialist to implement technical SEO improvements on client websites.
Optimize website performance, including page speed, schema markup, and mobile usability.

Problem Solving & Innovation

Troubleshoot and resolve website bugs, performance issues, and complex technical challenges.
Stay ahead of emerging trends and technologies in WordPress development and suggest improvements.

Requirements

WordPress Development: Expert-Level Proficiency

Minimum 4-6 years of hands-on experience in WordPress, including custom theme and plugin development.
Ability to create highly customized websites with advanced functionality and layouts.

Page Builders (Bricks & Oxygen): Expert-Level Proficiency

Strong experience building complex websites using Bricks and Oxygen page builders.
Ability to integrate custom CSS/JavaScript and leverage advanced features of these tools.

Figma to WordPress: Expert-Level Proficiency

Proven experience translating Figma designs into pixel-perfect, responsive, and functional WordPress websites.

Responsive Design & Cross-Browser Compatibility: Advanced Proficiency

Deep understanding of responsive design principles and ability to ensure websites perform seamlessly across all devices and browsers.

DNS Management (Cloudflare): Intermediate to Advanced Proficiency

Experience managing DNS records, including configuring A, CNAME, MX, and TXT records.
Knowledge of Cloudflare services for DNS and performance optimization.

SMTP Setup & Troubleshooting: Intermediate to Advanced Proficiency

Ability to configure and troubleshoot SMTP settings to ensure email deliverability from website forms.

Technical SEO: Intermediate Proficiency

Familiarity with implementing technical SEO improvements, including schema markup, structured data, and performance optimization (e.g., Core Web Vitals).

Website Maintenance: Advanced Proficiency

Experience updating WordPress core, plugins, and themes without breaking functionality.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve plugin conflicts and website issues.

Web Performance Optimization: Intermediate to Advanced Proficiency

Knowledge of caching techniques, CDNs, and website performance tools like GTmetrix, PageSpeed Insights, or Lighthouse.

PHP, JavaScript, and CSS: Intermediate Proficiency

Ability to write and modify custom PHP, JavaScript, and CSS for WordPress websites as required.

Soft Skills

Proven ability to diagnose and resolve technical challenges quickly and effectively.
Effective written and verbal communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical team members and clients.
Ability to work closely with the SEO team, designers, and other team members to achieve shared goals.
