About the role and why it’s unique:

Work on cutting edge projects focused on gamifying and building unique features into our fantasy and sports betting products
Design and develop clean, well-structured, and performant features — your work will be used by millions of our customers

Who you are:

A product-minded engineer with 6+ years of professional software development experience, including at least 1 year as a senior engineer.
At least 2 years of deep experience with Ruby on Rails
Familiarity with CI/CD, AWS, and modern DevOps tooling.
Strong understanding of SQL, observability (e.g., Datadog, Amplitude), and API design.
Skilled in scaling distributed systems, handling performance, caching, and database optimization.
Comfortable working across the stack and collaborating with product and design to ship great user experiences.
A clear communicator and empathetic teammate who values mentorship and feedback.

Even better if you have:

Experience in fantasy sports or sports betting (or a strong interest!).
Worked at a company through periods of rapid growth or scale.
Experience building highly scalable and available systems to handle high traffic conditions with low latency

Our target starting base salary range for this position is between $150,000 and $190,000, plus target equity. The starting base salary will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate’s skills and experience, among other things.
