Job description

This is a remote position.

Webio is a high growth Conversational AI tech company that is entering the next chapter of our story with expansion from our main UK & Ireland based markets into European markets, including Italy, Spain, Greece and Germany.

We are constantly dreaming of better ways for Enterprises to engage and have conversations with customers. Today, we focus on digital customer engagement, harnessing the power of Webio’s in-house developed Conversational AI which is delivering huge benefits to our clients.


We take lots of cool conversational tech and make it accessible to non-technical users (our customers) to build AI Agents that automate customer conversations with natural language understanding, machine learning, propensity identification, conversational payments and lots more.


What the job involves

As a Front End Team Leader, you will shape the Webio Platform UI. By working closely with cross-functional teams, you will lead efforts to implement features, resolve critical bugs, and guide the Front End Team in upholding best coding practices. You will ensure the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and maintainable solutions. Additionally, you will mentor team members, foster collaboration, and drive continuous improvement in both technical and UX aspects of the platform.

 

Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of two professionals, ensuring high performance and collaboration.

  • Plan, manage, and deliver features using Agile methodologies.

  • Design and implement robust, scalable solutions using ReactJS and NodeJS that integrate with the Webio REST API.

  • Oversee QA processes, ensuring thorough testing and adherence to quality assurance standards.

  • Collaborate with the Product Team and Backend Team to define feature requirements, design, and timelines.

  • Conduct code reviews, troubleshoot issues, and guide the team in best practices.

  • Foster a positive team culture focused on innovation and continuous improvement.


Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in a management or team leadership role.

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with ReactJS, JavaScript, and NodeJS.

  • Experience with TypeScript and using Storybook for components.

  • Experience in E2E testing using Jest and Cypress.

  • Basic knowledge of REST APIs

  • Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies, including sprint planning and backlog management.

  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

  • A proactive mindset focused on continuous improvement, with a drive to explore new technologies and methodologies to enhance system reliability and efficiency.

  • A proven track record of writing testable, maintainable, and scalable code.

  • Experience with containerization technologies (Docker).

  • Fluent in English, both verbal and written
    .

  • Successful applicants must be based in the EU and have the legal right to work in the EU.
