What you'll do here:

As a member of ed2go’s Workforce Development team, you will lead business development efforts to attain established sales targets and goals within an assigned sales territory. The focus will be on developing new partner relationships with Workforce Services providers, non-profits and other Human Services agencies involved in training and up-skilling their clients.

You will build connections with decision makers, represent and endorse ed2go products to customers, and provide post-sales support as needed to ensure successful student outcomes. In addition, you will advise Product and Marketing teams of trends and opportunities for ed2go to better serve the Workforce Development ecosystem. You will plan, coordinate, and prioritize sales strategies to achieve aggressive sales targets:

  • Develop and maintain a Territory Plan to penetrate and close new Workforce Service Provider partners
  • Build strategic plans for high value opportunities, including sales campaigns, custom project specifications and digital presentations
  • Develop itineraries and effectively utilize personnel and other resources within ed2go and Cengage to achieve sales objectives
  • Attend conferences/conventions and evaluate new partner opportunities as appropriate
  • Use Consultative Selling Skills framework to build lasting relationships with key partners

Skills you'll need here:

  • BA or BS degree
  • 5+ years of shown sales success with consistent overachievement of revenue goals, preferably in Higher Education or Workforce Sector
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills - Ability to empathize with our partners and students
  • Problem solver with effective persuasion skills
  • Work independently in a remote setting
  • Knowledge of the Workforce Development system and providers such as Goodwill Industries
  • Experience working with Salesforce
  • Ability to travel up to 25%

The full base pay range has been provided for this position. Individual base pay will vary based on work schedule, qualifications, experience, internal equity, and geographic location.  Sales roles often incorporate a significant incentive compensation program beyond this base pay range.

$77,100.00 - $100,000.00 USD
