We are looking for an RCM Service Manager to focus on DrChrono’s Revenue Cycle Management customers. We are seeking a talented and experienced candidate to join our Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) team! This person will oversee the day-to-day billing and collections operations teams. He/she will be the main point of contact for assigned clients and will be responsible for all communication to the client regarding practice performance, issue resolution, and anything else related to the medical billing process.

The RCM Service Manager will work with the operations team to ensure billing and collection activities are timely and accurate, and will create and review monthly reports to analyze outcomes, performance, and identify trends. He/she will ensure HIPAA privacy and security regulations are being followed.

Responsibilities:

·       The AM has the overall responsibility for the performance of the clinic revenue cycle KPIs (e.g. days in accounts receivable, first-pass payment resolution, best practice office workflow which results in timely signed visits), subject matter expertise, and Client satisfaction ratings are the primary measures of success

·       stablishing and maintaining system parameters that support timely submission of claims to payers resulting in payment maximization that is both efficient and effective

·       Managing Client accounts receivable, including analyzing by category and by payer and offering strategic solutions to reduce time in aging

·       Directing the AR team on follow up work to determine unpaid claim status and taking appropriate actions to ensure prompt payment

·       SME in revenue cycle management, which includes monthly and quarterly reporting to client, identifying issues affecting performance, and recommending actions to drive success

·       Deliver exceptional customer service by resolving patient escalations timely

·       Collaborate with other departments on software functions, workflows and best practices to assist clients and help develop and suggest new reporting tools needed to analyze a client account.

·       Build out and document practice and company-specific protocols and processes.

·       Provide information pertaining to billing, coding, managed care networks, insurance carriers and reimbursement to the Executive team or clients as needed.

·       Attend relevant seminars to remain abreast of current issues regarding revenue cycle management, Medicare compliance and HIPAA.

·       Assist clients with transactional changes to their accounts - provider adds, plan changes, reduction of fees, churn.

·       Develop your knowledge of clearinghouse technology, a web-based program for eligibility verification, claim submission, and claim status in order to efficiently conduct customer follow-up and maximize revenue.

Skills and Experience needed for success in this role:

Must-have:

·       Experience: Minimum of 3 years experience in healthcare account management or revenue cycle operations. Preferably in an outsourced billing atmosphere with experience serving many specialties, client sizes, and geographic locations.

·       Customer-facing experience and knowledge of medical billing/coding, front-office, physician practice management, and healthcare business processes

·       Strong understanding of various insurance carriers, including Medicare, private HMOs, PPOs, and HIPAA regulations.

·       Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are required.

Nice-to-have:

·       Advanced Excel skills such as the ability to use formulas to analyze data, create tables and Pivot tables, formatting and conditional formatting (Preferred)

·       EHR / Healthcare experience (Preferred)

·       Experience using Salesforce, Slack, Zoom, GSuite, Docusign (Preferred)

·       Strong organizational skills and exceptional follow-through abilities

·       Goal-oriented and data-driven

·       Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong customer service skills.

Where:

The EverCommerce team is distributed globally, with teams in the U.S., Canada, the U.K., Jordan, New Zealand, and Australia. With a widely distributed team, we are used to working remotely across different time zones. This role can be based anywhere in the United States – if you’re close to one of our offices, we can set you up in-office or you can work 100% remotely. Please note that you must be eligible to work without sponsorship to qualify for this position, and this role may require travel to our Corporate Headquarters in Denver, Colorado, or to other office locations around North America.

Compensation:

EverCommerce is committed to equal pay and transparency. The annual base salary range for this position is $60,000-$70,000. Please note that the salary range information provided is a general guideline and combines all of the distinct labor markets within the US. EverCommerce considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, candidate’s work location, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, external market data, as well as, market and business considerations when making compensation decisions.
