As a Software Engineer QA Mainframe, you have 3+ years of relevant experience in testing the software; gathering requirements, set up environments, design and plan automation and test based on a general guideline locally and on the cloud. You should have strong programming skills, good debugging experience, and excellent problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:Responsible for creation of test requirements, test plan and test-cases.Owning the work of designing and developing automated tools or frameworks for highly optimized and effective test coverage.To work with leads, senior and junior engineers, Product Owner and Product Manager to design and develop test plans based on functional/design specifications and ensures test coverage is met, and customer scenarios are factored into testing.Proactively manage the impact of changes to automation, plan and optimize for its maintenance effort.Own the quality of your product area and will be responsible for related deliveries to customer.Develop a good understanding of the overall architecture of the product and be a valued member of an autonomous, cross-functional in multiple time zones agile team.Be aware of impact of design decisions to customer upgrade paths and brings that knowledge into design discussions.Manage tight schedules and adapt to changing requirements.Support customer requests and provide Tier 2 level support to the Protegrity customer base.Qualifications:2-4 years of professional experience in Mainframe technologies, COBOL, JCLGood understanding of DB2, VSAM, REXXGood working knowledge of z/OS operating system architecture and network configurationsExceptionally strong and tenacious problem solving and analytical skills.Experience in working with client server and multi-tier systemsExperience in SQL, configuring and tuning databases viz.
