Job description

This is a remote position.

Edstruments is a K-12 education finance start-up whose mission is to optimize the way dollars are spent in the public education system. Our objective is to design robust and user-friendly software for budget owners that increases strategic decision-making and best practices within an organization. Our vision is a public education system that innovates quickly and optimizes spending around student outcomes.


Our team consists of former educators, businesspeople, and technologists united around building solutions for the operational inefficiencies faced by district and school leaders across the U.S. Our founder is a Forbes 30 Under 30 Stanford MBA and ex-McKinsey consultant and our Chief Technology Officer has built and exited a start-up before joining Edstruments.


We're looking for talented and experienced back-end software developers to join our growing team and help us bring the cutting edge of technology to the hands of those charged with educating our youth. These roles would be mainly back-end centric and would include adding new features to our current platform and improvements to our existing features using Spring Boot (Java) and Hibernate. We're looking for developers who love building products and who have significant experience in building back-end data architecture. If you think you fit the bill, we'd love to chat with you!



Requirements
1. Building a financial management dashboard targeted to public schools in the United States to help school leaders make better decisions.
2. This role would be mainly back-end centric.
3. Roles would include adding new features to our current dashboard or bug fixes and improvements to our existing features using Spring Boot (Java) and Hibernate.
4. Looking for developers who love building products and who have significant experience in building back-end data structures using Spring Boot (Java) and Hibernate.
5. Compensation would be between 6-16LPA depending on your previous CTC and how well you would fit into our company.
