Temporary position for 12 months.
As a property and casualty insurance advisor, you help members and clients protect their wealth. You identify potential commercial risks and provide prevention and security advice. You actively maintain business relationships with your clients. You drive results by reviewing inspection requests to ensure sound and prudent risk management, profitability and member/client satisfaction. You analyze member/client needs and help develop and implement personalized solutions. You handle moderately complex files. You advise and assist members and clients. You represent Desjardins and enter the organization into agreements with clients. You identify important prevention measures in accordance with current standards and procedures. Interpersonal savvy is essential. More specifically, you will be required to:
Establish an advisory relationship by identifying current and potential commercial risks and focusing on prevention to support client retention
Advise members and clients on the best solutions or alternatives to protect their wealth
Respond to client questions, handle requests and follow up as needed
Collect, compile and analyze data. Prepare reports and recommendations
Monitor the industry to stay on top of the latest trends, opportunities and best practices in your field.

What you bring to the table
Bachelor's degree in a related field
A minimum of two years of relevant experience in commercial property and casualty insurance
Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
Mutual fund representative certificate – Autorité des marchés financiers
Knowledge of French is required
