Job Role: Copy & Content Writer
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM (AU Time Zone)
Salary range:             $1000 - 1500 AUD

Who The Client Is: The client is a Brisbane-based supplier of high-quality landscaping products and materials, catering to both DIY enthusiasts and professional landscapers. They offer a wide range of items including retaining walls, fencing, garden supplies, paving, turf, and tools. With a strong focus on durability, aesthetics, and sustainability, they work closely with manufacturers to provide eco-friendly and innovative solutions. Known for their exceptional customer service and industry expertise, they aim to build long-term relationships based on trust and product reliability.

Role Overview: We are seeking a talented and creative Copy & Content Writer to join our team. This role requires a strong ability to craft engaging, persuasive, and informative content that aligns with our brand voice and business goals. The ideal candidate will have a passion for storytelling, a keen understanding of marketing principles, and the ability to produce high-quality content across multiple platforms, including websites, blogs, social media, emails, and advertisements.

Key Responsibilities:

Blog Article Writing

  • Research and write high-quality, engaging, and informative blog posts that align with our brand voice and are optimized for SEO. Articles should provide value to our audience and support our overall content strategy.

Product Descriptions

  • Craft clear, persuasive, and keyword-rich product descriptions that effectively highlight product features, benefits, and unique selling propositions to drive conversions.

SEO Optimization

  • Utilize provided keywords and collaborate with the Digital Marketing Specialist to implement meta descriptions, header tags, and other on-page SEO best practices.

Content Strategy Support

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm and develop content ideas that support campaign goals, ensuring consistency in tone, style, and messaging across all written materials.

Editing & Proofreading

  • Review all written content for clarity, grammar, punctuation, and alignment with brand guidelines. Ensure content is accurate and free from errors before publication.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Copy & Content Writer, Copywriter, or in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of SEO best practices, including keyword placement, meta tags, and content optimization techniques (keywords will be provided).
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to create engaging, conversion-focused content for a variety of target audiences.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with content management systems (e.g., WordPress), Google Docs, and SEO tools is a plus.
