JOB TITLE: Content Coordinator
JOB TYPE: Full-time, Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm AEST
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Content Coordinator at Mahlab, you will work closely with editors and designers
to support seamless content production across various clients. Your key
responsibilities will include:
● Managing day-to-day content production, including web publishing and
newsletter creation.
● Owning social media calendars for all clients—coordinating asset creation,
scheduling posts, and collaborating with the performance marketing team on
paid amplification.
● Conducting image and graphics research, resizing, and optimising visuals for
digital platforms.
● Tracking and managing links to ensure accurate performance measurement.
● Collating content performance using analytics tools (Google Analytics, social
media insights, email metrics) and supporting the team with reporting.
● Building strong working relationships with internal teams to ensure smooth
content execution.
● Staying up to date with emerging trends, tools, and techniques in publishing,
marketing, and communications.
● Assist in paid content distribution strategies (e.g., sponsored posts, native
advertising).
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
● Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
● The ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and make quick decisions.
● Hands-on problem-solving skills and an analytical mindset.
● Experience with content management systems, email service providers, and
social media platforms.
● Knowledge of content distribution channels and digital marketing strategies.
● An understanding of content marketing initiatives that drive engagement and
meet key performance indicators (KPIs).
● Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
● A degree in Journalism, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
(preferred but not essential).
