Position Overview

BizFirst is supporting our client in search of a full-time Graphic Artist IV to provide senior-level visual communications and creative design support to the Chief of Staff and leadership across the JPEO-CBRND program. The ideal candidate will lead the development and implementation of innovative digital and print media solutions that communicate complex information clearly and effectively to senior stakeholders. This role requires experience in multimedia production, brand identity, and communication strategy, with the ability to translate technical and strategic concepts into engaging and visually impactful products..

Our client is a specialized management consulting firm that engages experienced professionals and consultants to support the federal government with strategic project execution, financial process optimization, advanced IT solutions, and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system implementation. Through innovative transformations, they develop and implement strategies to optimize operations for military departments and agencies across the U.S. Federal Government.


What You will Do:

As a Graphic Artist IV, you will provide creative leadership, develop graphics for a variety of communication materials, and manage high-priority design projects from concept to completion. You will serve as a visual strategist for internal and external engagements, apply branding standards, and maintain visual excellence across digital, print, and multimedia deliverables. Working independently and collaboratively, you will shape the visual identity of the program and ensure consistency, clarity, and innovation in all design products.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the creative design and development of digital and print products including infographics, technical illustrations, briefings, publications, branding, signage, and multimedia content.
  • Provide strategic visual direction, manage creative projects from concept through completion, and maintain alignment with organizational goals and branding standards.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate complex data and abstract concepts into clear, compelling visual communications tailored to diverse audiences, including senior leadership.
  • Design reusable templates and visual frameworks for routine and customized use, ensuring consistency across communication products.
  • Operate design tools such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and VectorWorks; utilize CNC router as needed for fabrication-related work.
  • Support internal and external events with tailored graphics, signage, photography, and videography; manage public release approvals and coordinate with vendors as required.
  • Maintain design SOPs, archive deliverables in approved locations, and provide training or guidance on graphic standards and best practices.

 

Required Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years in visual communications and graphic design.
  • Management: At least 5 years of experience managing or leading creative projects and teams.
  • Design Tools: Proficiency with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, VectorWorks, and related multimedia tools.
  • Communication: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to clearly articulate creative ideas to senior leadership.
  • Clearance: Active DoD Secret Clearance required.
  • Other: Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a high-tempo environment with limited supervision.
