Job description

The Pioneers are looking for a competent Marketing Director to be in charge of the organizations marketing ventures. This primarily involves developing and implementing strategies to strengthen the organization's market presence and help it find a voice that will make a difference.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to create awareness of the organization's activities.
  • Produce ideas for promotional events or activities and organize them efficiently.
  • Plan and execute campaigns by organizing and developing specific programs and determining organization's presence at conventions, annual meetings and seminars.
  • Monitor campaigns and advertisements progress and submit performance reports.
  • Responsible for producing valuable content for the organizations online presence, editorial design and organizing the organizations publications.
  • Conduct general market research to keep abreast of trends and future enhancements.
  • Control budgets and allocate resources amongst projects.
  • Supervise the department and provide guidance and feedback to other marketing professionals.

Qualifications/Skills

  • Excellent leadership and organizing skills.
  • Analytical and creative thinking.
  • Exquisite communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in marketing research and statistical analysis
  • Knowledge of web analytics and advertisement platforms (e.g. Google Analytics, WebTrends etc.) and Google AdWords.
  • Customer-oriented approach with aptitude.

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or a related field.
  • Proven working experience in digital marketing, particularly within the industry.
  • Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience preferred.
