Job description

Job Summary

  • A highly skilled and motivated AWS Databricks Snowflake Consultant with strong Python programming skills to be part of our team.
  • The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of cloud data technologies, data engineering, and data analytics.
  • This position requires expertise in AWS, Databricks, Snowflake, and Python, along with Atlassian tools like JIRA
  • Expertise in using version controls tools like Git, Bitbucket.
  • Hands on experience in CI/CD, Kubernetes with other monitoring and alerting tools

Qualification and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a data engineer, data architect, or similar role.
  • Strong expertise in AWS services, particularly EMR, Glue, S3, Lambda, and IAM.
  • Proficiency in Databricks for data processing and analytics.
  • Hands on experience in AWS/Cloud infrastructure
  • In-depth knowledge of Snowflake data warehousing platform.
  • Excellent Python programming skills for data transformation and scripting.
  • Experience with SQL and database technologies.
  • Familiarity with data modeling and schema design.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • AWS and Snowflake certifications are a plus.
  • Knowledge of data governance and compliance standards is beneficial.
