Job Description: Our client is seeking an experienced Azure Data Factory Consultant to join their team remotely in the Philippines. The successful candidate will work alongside a team of professionals based in the Philippines to design, implement, and manage data integration solutions for clients.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with the existing team to design, develop, and implement data integration solutions using Azure Data Factory.
2. Analyze and understand business requirements to create efficient and scalable data pipelines.
3. Work closely with stakeholders to gather and define data integration requirements.
4. Optimize and troubleshoot existing data pipelines to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
5. Provide technical expertise and guidance to the team on best practices related to Azure Data Factory.
6. Participate in project planning, estimation, and coordination activities.
7. Conduct training sessions for team members as needed.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
2. Proven experience as a Data Integration Developer or Consultant, with a focus on Azure Data Factory.
3. In-depth knowledge of data integration concepts, ETL processes, and data warehousing.
4. Hands-on experience with Azure services such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake Storage, and Azure SQL Database.
5. Strong programming skills in languages such as SQL, Python, or C#.
6. Familiarity with data modeling and database design principles.
7. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
8. Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a remote team environment.
Preferred Skills:
1. Azure certifications related to data and analytics.
2. Experience with other Azure services such as Azure Synapse Analytics and Azure Databricks.
3. Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.
