We are looking for a skilled and experienced QA Engineer to join our team as a remote worker. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of testing web applications, mobile applications, and APIs. They should be able to work independently, as well as in a team, and have excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Create and execute test plans and test cases to ensure the quality of software products
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand product requirements and design test cases accordingly
- Identify, report, and track defects to closure
- Develop and maintain automated tests using tools such as Selenium, Appium, and Postman
- Continuously improve our testing processes, tools, and methodologies
- Ensure that our products meet industry standards for performance, reliability, and security
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure that software releases are of high quality and meet customer needs
- Work independently in a remote environment and effectively communicate with team members through various communication channels.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience as a QA Engineer testing web applications, mobile applications, and APIs
- Strong experience in manual testing and automated testing using Selenium, Appium, and Postman
- Strong experience in writing test plans, test cases, and defect reports
- Experience with bug tracking tools such as Jira and Confluence
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and tools such as Git and Jenkins
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
