Technical Development:
- Design, develop, and maintain customizations and enhancements within the MFG Pro system to meet business requirements.
- Collaborate with business analysts and end-users to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Customize and configure MFG Pro modules and functionalities as per business needs.
- Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and data extracts using MFG Pro reporting tools.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to ensure the successful implementation of MFG Pro solutions.
System Support:
- Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for MFG Pro system issues and user inquiries.
- Investigate and resolve technical issues related to MFG Pro applications, interfaces, and integrations.
- Perform regular system maintenance tasks, including software upgrades, patches, and performance tuning.
- Monitor system performance and stability, identifying and addressing issues proactively.
Documentation and Training:
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including system configurations, customizations, and troubleshooting guides.
- Provide training and support to end-users on MFG Pro functionality, best practices, and usage guidelines.
Qualifications:
Technical Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience working with MFG Pro.
- Proficiency in MFG Pro development tools and languages, including Progress 4GL.
- Experience with MFG Pro modules such as Finance, Manufacturing, Distribution, and Warehouse Management.
- Strong understanding of ERP concepts, including manufacturing processes, supply chain management, and financials.
- Knowledge of database concepts and SQL for data manipulation and reporting.
