The New Equipment Senior Director leads the new equipment product marketing team to ensure that the product roadmaps tie to the regional and global business plans and priorities. Their main function is to support the Regions, Operating Units (OUs) by planning, building and maintaining a product marketing roadmap. They also are responsible for defining new equipment product marketing strategy and strategic campaigns by creating an end-to-end process of the marketing campaign including identifying the clear objectives, setting the target market, building the value proposition, establishing the go to market strategy (GTM), executing the GTM strategy and measuring, analyzing and communicating results.

In addition, they review Finance Operations data and providing marketing insights on Share of Segment (SoS), orders, margin and sales data to identify opportunities to drive price or make cost adjustments to achieve booked and sold margin % and support pricing committees.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Provide oversight of the regional/OU campaign roadmap(s) by partnering with and meeting on a regular cadence with respective New Equipment (NE) leaders and NE sales director to have a strong sense of what is going on in the local business and where opportunities exist
  • Ensure regional roadmap forecast rolls up to and aligns with annual marketing plan
  • Monitor campaign leads and orders results to ensure alignment with annual plan
  • Review and provide director to the digital and product marketers on marketing plans, promotional plans and execution regardless of the medium used in the campaign
  • Lead the process of developing a marketing plan and forecast for each campaign, in partnership with digital marketing and NE sales leader(s)
  • Support the product management teams development of product positioning, value propositions and messaging
  • Collaborate with marcomms to produce relevant external content to support product campaigns (emails, sales brochures, product fact sheets, customer presentations, etc.)
  • For OUs with Field Marketing, coordinate with them to review all relevant content to support product campaigns (email content, fact sheets, internal communication to sales and field organizations, sales job aides, FAQs ect)
  • Perform competitor marketing analysis, as necessary, when building campaign or product strategy
  • Serve as marketing lead for global programs such as otis.com, global SharePoint
  • Support all product sales releases
  • Work with Sales Enablement CoE to ensure marketing reports are available as needed for campaign tracking
  • Identify key products to advertise and content needed to support trade shows
  • Lead cross regional collaboration and best practice sharing efforts to generate new campaign ideas and improve GTM effectiveness
  • Support regional price committees by analyzing data and providing marketing insights on taxonomy, orders, margin and sales data to identify opportunities to drive price or make cost adjustments to achieve booked and sold margin %
  • Analyze monthly HFM and CRM NE data to ensure that key countries and regions receive the marketing support needed to achieve business plan

Experience & Qualifications:  

  • 5+ years of relevant leadership experience within the industry.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
  • Product Marketing Knowledge: Deep understanding of service marketing in the elevator or industrial industry.
  • Project Management: Background in overseeing projects, ensuring they align with the organization’s goals.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Experience collaborating with various stakeholders, including executives, employees, and external partners.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and execute segment-level strategies aligned with organizational goals.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with modern technologies and trends
  • Analytical Skills: Capacity to assess current systems and identify areas for improvement through data-driven decision-making.
  • Communication Skills: Strong ability to articulate strategic vision and initiatives to diverse audiences.
  • Agility and Adaptability: Capability to pivot strategies based on changing business environments or emerging technologies.

The salary range for this role is $196,000.00-245,000.00.  We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may change in the future.  Pay within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
