Job description

We're looking for a skilled Senior Data Advisor (Governance) for our client team.

The Senior Data Advisor is responsible for driving the execution of the organization's data strategy through large cross-functional initiatives.

This role involves developing and managing business relationships with senior leaders, acting as a change agent for data literacy, and ensuring the prudent use of financial resources.

The advisor will leverage their subject matter expertise to influence key initiatives and collaborate across the organization to advance the data strategy.

IMPORTANT: This role is a full-time employee position, available for candidates based in COSTA RICA, EL SALVADOR, PANAMA, NICARAGUA, GUATEMALA, DOMINICAN REPUBLIC, and HONDURAS.

Requirements:

  • Understanding of data governance, data management, and data operations.
  • Advanced knowledge of data analytics and best practices in data governance.
  • Bachelor Degree.
  • Over 4 years of experience in data roles.
  • Fluent English.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meet the needs of consuming stakeholders and ensure compliance from producing stakeholders while enforcing best practices.

  • Define key performance indicators to monitor and track the health of data assets.
  • Recruit, select, and onboard talent from outside vendors as needed.
  • Stay aligned with the overall data strategy and influence prioritization of firm data needs.
  • Serve as the single point of contact for data solution requests across the firm.
  • Shape a compelling data narrative using performance measures.
  • Ensure sustainable talent pipeline to meet current and future needs.
  • Engage with industry best practices and thought partners.
  • Actively seek ways to improve departmental activities and implement changes.
