Job Title: APAC Marketing Manager – Product Certification
Reports to: APAC Marketing Manager – Regulatory Services
Location:  China Remote

About the role

The Marketing Manager will be responsible for driving the growth of the sales pipeline through quality lead generation activities. This role will focus on fostering close professional relationships with commercial colleagues, representing product certification marketing within the region, and ensuring the successful execution of both traditional and digital marketing strategies. The primary objective is to create, execute, and optimize the local annual marketing plan for product certification, and market access service portfolio, utilizing a full spectrum of digital and traditional marketing channels. This position plays a critical role in increasing market share, revenue, and profitability through strategic marketing campaigns, events, partnerships, and data-driven digital marketing initiatives. This role will be remote working in China and report to the APAC Marketing Manager – Regulatory Services.
 

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and execution of the local annual marketing plan, aligning with the global strategy and focusing on key growth areas in the territory.

  • Develop integrated marketing plans that incorporate digital advertising campaigns across platforms such as Baidu Ads, Google Ads, Bing Ads, and social media channels such as WeChat ensuring alignment with overall marketing objectives.

  • Work with the Global RS Website team and content specialists to maintain and enhance local web presence, focusing on user experience and conversion rate optimization.

  • Collaborate with the local commercial teams to support and execute major trade shows and BSI-specific client events, seminars, webinars, and workshops in APAC.

  • Partner with the RS analytics team to ensure accurate data segmentation, supporting targeted lead generation campaigns.

  • Act as the regional voice within the global marketing team, representing the interests and needs of the APAC market.

Occasional travel is required for core meetings and events (up to 20%)

To be successful in the role, you will:

  • Be educated to degree level.

  • Demonstrated track record of planning and executing successful integrated marketing
    campaigns.

  • End to end event management experience, with demonstrable examples of event selection, planning and follow up with positive impact/ROI.

  • Experience with marketing automation tools, creating emails and landing pages.

  • Experience using Social Media platforms (paid and organic) including LinkedIn.

  • Excellent level of written and spoken English and Mandarin Chinese.

  • Japanese and/or Korean advantageous.
