Job description

Staff4Me is excited to announce an opening for an Unlimited Break-Fix Coordinator. In this role, you will take charge of coordinating our Break-Fix services, ensuring that issues are resolved swiftly and efficiently for our clients. Your ability to manage schedules, communicate effectively, and coordinate technical resources will be key to our success.

  • Work as a coordinator on the Break-Fix team
  • Review the assigned ticket to identify how the Break-Fix team can assist in
  • resolution
  • Review all other open tickets to identify any other issues that can be solved with
  • the same dispatch
  • Create a BAP/Platform One order following the UBF process
  • Generate a work order and submit to the contractor pool
  • Adjust the urgency, description and pricing of each work order to ensure prompt acceptance and technician assignment
  • Once a technician has been assigned
  • Call technician to confirm he/she has the skills and tools required
  • Confirm date and time of dispatch
  • Confirm pricing
  • Confirm the name of the resource and contact information
  • Coordinate a remote technical resource to assist the on-site technician using our booking/scheduling tools
  • Update the appointment and ticket as needed
  • Communicate scheduling updates to both residents, property staff and
  • contractors
  • Communicate technical updates to both residents, property staff and internal stakeholders
  • Collaborate with on-site resources to ensure proper ticket documentation and resolution
  • Follow up with on-site resources to confirm attendance and resolution
  • Add troubleshooting or other notes to the ticket and close or reassign where appropriate
  • Reschedule on-site appointments as necessary
  • Assist with working out of our ticket queue
  • Scheduling field technicians and remote engineers.
  • Calls to both our customers and field technicians for the scheduling process.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Break-Fix coordination or a similar role.
  • Strong experience with Ruckus, Cisco, and HP systems.
  • Extensive technical knowledge of hardware, software applications, and networking fundamentals.
  • Hands-on experience in diagnosing and troubleshooting a variety of hardware and software issues.
  • Familiarity with operating systems such as Windows, macOS, and Linux.
  • Proven experience performing hardware repairs and upgrades.
  • Solid understanding of network protocols and their configurations.
  • Exceptional communication skills, particularly in conveying technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
  • Professional certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or MCP will be considered a plus.
