Job description

The Hilb Group is currently seeking a motivated and ambitious ­­­­­Benefit Coordinator to join our team. This position will report to our agency located in Hunt Valley, MD. The ideal candidate will be motivated to succeed, is well organized, able to prioritize, and able to work well with a team. This is a remote position.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Support Client Service Team and their clients in a primarily internal resource capacity

  • Manage the internal workflow, development and execution of all client and employee communications including print, PowerPoint, web-based content, Brainshark, video, and other collateral

  • Collaborate with client account team members to prepare annual pre-renewal, renewal, claims review, open enrollment, and other client meetings as required

  • Act as liaison to Business Center and coordinate the printing/mailing of all client materials, special projects, etc.

  • Develop draft client presentations and meeting templates

  • Coordinate peer review and approval process for all assigned work

  • Utilize BenefitPoint and other internal systems for optimal management of deliverables for all assigned clients

  • Preparation of coverage comparisons/proposals

  • Attend appropriate industry functions and participate in relevant industry training

  • Develop and maintain an extensive knowledge of insurance coverages and markets

Qualifications:

  • Proven work experience with Desktop Publisher, Graphic Designer, or similar role

  • At least 2 years of experience in a professional setting. Knowledge of employee benefits, insurance, and/or risk management industry is helpful, but not required

  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills, advanced PowerPoint skills are a plus

  • Working knowledge of other Adobe Creative Suite products is desired

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Creativity skills with attention to detail

  • Excellent time managements and project management skills, must be able to manage multiple projects, work under strict deadlines, and be good at scheduling and prioritizing tasks

  • Can be counted on to successfully meet goals, is a consistent, quality performer

  • Maintains a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a manner so that relationships with clients, co-workers and supervisors are productive.

  • Can be relied upon for regular and consistent time and attendance.

  • Ability to work independently and contribute as a team player

Benefits: 

  • Compensation: $45,000-$50,000/yr.
