Insurity's Next Sr. Solution Consultant
The Solution Consulting team at Insurity is responsible for improving, performing, and maintaining the active sales lifecycle for all Insurity products. They interact with prospective customers through discovery conversations, solution demonstrations, presentations, and follow-up discussions.
This role will blend art & science – the art of expanding the Insurity philosophy of making insurance technology solutions simple, combined with the science of understanding how to build trust in future customer partnerships through product demonstrations and industry knowledge.
The Solution Consultant is responsible for working with and assisting sales executives in the discovery process to determine the high-level and detailed requirements of the prospect and the supporting business case. The goal of the solution consultant during an active sales cycle is to gain acceptance from the customer that Insurity can solve the customer’s problem and is the right choice over the other competitive offerings.
During the sales cycle, they support all phases and are directly responsible for product demonstrations, product knowledge, and contribution to RFP/RFI responses.
A Senior Solution Consultant should maintain insurance industry knowledge, understand the competitive landscape, and have an ability to clearly articulate software solutions that differentiate Insurity product offerings and the related ROI a prospect will derive.
What Our Sr. Solution Consultant Will Do:
- In advance of a demonstration or presentation, conduct discovery sessions with sales executives and representatives from the prospective customer in order to understand their needs and gain agreement on business requirements and steps in the evaluation process
- Compose and deliver value-based software demonstrations / presentations in-person and remotely covering Insurity solutions to prospective customer audiences in support of sales cycles. Preparation includes personalization of materials to articulate sales messages and differentiating Insurity from other options in the market
- Support all phases of our sales cycle, by taking the lead on coordination and completion of customer proposals, RFPs / RFIs, written responses and other required documentation
- Provide limited post-sale support to key customers primarily to the project/implementation team to ensure a smooth transition
- Build and deliver presentations at industry events and trade shows
- Work with the Product Marketing team to maintain a strong database of competitive information, write and maintain battle cards and other go-to market materials and collateral
- Work with the Cloud Operations and Professional Services team to consult with customers on the technical implications of their migration to our cloud solutions.
- Lead client facing discovery sessions to dive into the details and analyze existing customer integrations to understand their business requirements and technical constraints as you document and deliver integration rework guidance.
Who You Are:
- BA/BS degree required or relevant industry experience
- Minimum of 5-7 years of applicable sales/sales engineer/Insurance sales or operations experience in a sophisticated and solution-based environment with high familiarity of the full sales process
- Minimum of 3-5 years premium audit experience as a physical or virtual auditor
- Experience completing WC and GL audits
- Insurance industry and product knowledge with a detailed understanding of insurance distribution models and Insurance software solutions available in the marketplace
- Proven success providing presentations to non-technical audiences and articulating the business value
- Highly organized with strong planning skills and able to balance multiple projects simultaneously with timely delivery and to high-quality standards
- Highly proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Ability to travel up to 50%

Along with the benefits listed above, the salary range for this role is $100,000 - $175,000 commensurate with experience.
