What We’re Looking For

Trillium Health Resources has a career opening for a Senior Manager of Children and Youth Specialty Programs to join our team. The primary responsibilities of this position include providing administrative supervision and clinical oversight of specialty programs. The Senior Manager ensures the care management team are meeting overall program goals and objectives. On a typical day, you might:

  • Monitor and oversee the activities of the specialty program staff to ensure the needs of members, families and stakeholders are being addressed appropriately, expeditiously and in a courteous manner.
  • Ensure oversight of program performance measures and that program goal benchmarks are consistently met.
     
  • Ensure program staff maintain compliance with accreditation standards.  
     
  • Coordinate with internal and external specialty teams, including regional care teams, population health, other community agencies and programs as needed.
     
     
  • Provide coaching and education to employees to ensure continuous improvement of performance.

 

  • Review, revise or develop departmental procedures, processes, protocols, workflows, job descriptions and training material; also engaging in program development to meet the child and youth TCM specialty needs.  

 

  • Evaluate all available sources of data and contractual requirements, both health plan specific and publicly available data in order to ensure programs are in alignment with state requirements

Qualifications: 

Education/Experience:
High School diploma/GED and six (6) years of post-graduate experience with Child BH/MH/SU and/or IDD population. 
OR
 
Associate’s degree in Human Services field and four (4) years of post-graduate experience with Child BH/MH/SU and/or IDD population.
OR
 Bachelor’s degree in Human Services field and two (2) years of post-graduate experience with Child BH/MH/SU and/or IDD population. 
OR 
Equivalent combination of education/experience.

Preferred Education/Experience: 
 
Master’s degree in Human Services 
 Experience working with BH/MH/SU and/or IDD individuals in crisis.

Two (2) years of experience working with the DSS and/or DJJ population.

Two (2) years of experience providing direct supervision of two (2) or more staff that provide BH/MH/SU and/or IDD services.


License/Certification: 
 Fully Licensed in North Carolina with a valid LCSW, LMFT, LPA, LCAS, LCMHC, or RN license are required.
 Must have a valid driver’s license

Location:
 
Remote within North Carolina. 
 Must reside in NC to be considered for remote status.
