Department Overview
Solution Delivery is comprised of Solution Engineering, Project Management, Installation Support, Field Service, Configuration, Security Operations, and the Channel Program. As a Program Manager within the Project Management team, you will lead the delivery of multiple internal new product initiatives, in close collaboration with the Product, Engineering, and Marketing teams. You will also have the opportunity to lead the further definition and evolution of the “Envysion Product Lifecycle Process” framework, which include processes, tools, and templates to enable our new product development goals.

Job Description

Core Functions:

  • Significant management experience leading cross-functional initiatives and delivering value to the organization
  • Ability to lead from a strategic point of view while also being able to tactically execute the daily responsibilities and overcome obstacles
  • Coordinates cross-functional teams, focused on delivering new product development initiative
  • Must have high attention to detail and demonstrate an ability to learn quickly while producing results
  • Manages a portfolio of projects from inception to completion (or transition), including tracking and evaluation of portfolio project performance
  • Ensures that projects are completed on time, within budget, and within accepted quality metrics
  • Leads the project toll gates, status meetings, and communicates project status
  • Utilizes project management methodologies to ensure maximum project effectiveness
  • Self-motivated and willing to think outside of the box to help support strategic growth
  • Foster strong relationships across many internal teams including Product, Engineering, Marketing, Finance, Sales, Customer Success, and Solution Engineering
  • Attain quarterly and annual objectives assigned by management
  • Position could require limited travel (under ~20%)

Experience & Education:

  • B.S. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS, Business Management, or Project Management
  • 10+ years of previous experience as a Portfolio/Project Manager preferred
  • Experience leading new product initiatives which require software development as well as hardware components
  • Experience implementing new product development frameworks, processes, tools, and templates to drive standardization and positive outcomes
  • Experience with varying project management methodologies
  • Project management related certifications preferred
  • Knowledge of retail industry related applications, CCTV, LP, data integration techniques and web technology

Target Base Salary Range: $125,000 - $140,000 CAD

Consistent with Motorola Solutions values and applicable law, we provide the following information to promote pay transparency and equity. Pay within this range varies and depends on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The actual offer will be based on the individual candidate.
