As a Senior Account Executive at Bonterra, you will be at the forefront of driving revenue growth by connecting mid-sized nonprofit organizations with our software solutions. You will play a key role in understanding each organization’s unique challenges and aligning them with the tools that will accelerate their mission. You’ll be part of Bonterra’s dynamic Mid-Market Sales team, which plays a critical role in expanding our reach to mission-driven organizations across the country. Our team is composed of collaborative and results-driven, purpose-driven sales professionals who thrive on building meaningful relationships and closing deals that align technology with impact. We collaborate closely with Sales Development, Marketing, Solutions Consulting, and Customer Success to ensure a seamless buyer journey and lasting client success. The team values transparency, peer coaching, and continuous learning, and we’re energized by connecting nonprofits to the tools they need to amplify their work.
3+ years of experience in B2B SaaS sales, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding quota.
Demonstrated ability to manage complex sales cycles, ideally within the nonprofit or mission-driven sector.
Strong consultative selling skills, with the ability to uncover customer needs and align them with value-based solutions.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to engage executive-level stakeholders.
Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms is helpful; training can be provided.
Comfortable operating in a collaborative, metrics-driven environment.
Experience selling to nonprofit organizations or within the social impact sector.
Ability to navigate procurement processes, including RFPs and legal review.
Background in mission-driven or SaaS companies with multiple product lines.
Passion for social good and understanding of the nonprofit technology landscape.
Compensation
The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and in addition to benefits this role may be eligible for discretionary bonuses/incentives, and equity.
US Base Salary Range: $60k - $75k base salary. This role is eligible for monthly commissions
