BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Per Diem Physical Therapist (PT) to join our dedicated team! If you're passionate about helping adult and geriatric clients achieve optimal mobility and independence in the comfort of their own homes, this opportunity is for you. Our Home Health office serves an area throughout the Harford County area, delivering compassionate, high-quality care on a per-visit basis.

Why Choose BAYADA?

  • Supportive Environment: Work with a multi-disciplinary team that values your expertise and commitment. We provide PPE supplies, comprehensive infection prevention protocols, and daily pre-screens to ensure your safety.

  • Competitive Benefits: Our comprehensive benefits plan includes paid holidays, vacation and sick leave, vision, dental, and medical health plans, employer-paid life insurance, a 401(k) with company match, direct deposit, and more.

What You'll Do:
  • Home Visits: Travel to clients’ homes across designated geographic territories, providing personalized physical therapy services.

  • Assessment & Treatment: Conduct diagnostic tests and measurements (e.g., joint range, muscle strength, balance) to create and implement individualized care plans. Utilize evidence-based interventions such as manual therapeutic exercises, gait training, and balance techniques.

  • Wound Care: Implement protective interventions to prevent wound formation and promote wound healing using advanced dressings and topical agents.

  • Client & Family Education: Empower clients and their families with essential rehabilitative care knowledge and activities that promote health, safety, and independent living.

  • Documentation: Maintain accurate, state-of-the-art electronic records using our modern touch pad tablets, ensuring each client’s care plan is continually updated and refined.

What We’re Looking For:
  • Experience & Licensing: A current MD Physical Therapist license and at least one year of recent clinical experience as a PT.

  • Education: Graduation from an accredited physical therapy program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association or the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation.

  • Skills: Ability to work independently with strong time-management, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in computer skills; experience with electronic medical records (EMR) is preferred.
