Job Description & Responsibilities:
Persistent Systems LLC seeks a Contracts Administrator to join our growing and dynamic team! In this role, you will collaborate with the Director of Contracts Management to oversee, review, and manage contracts throughout their lifecycle. This position requires exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and effective communication with various stakeholders to ensure compliance and seamless contract execution.
You will play a key role in handling all aspects of government contracts, identifying new opportunities, and strengthening relationships with government contracts. Additionally, you will ensure strict adherence to Federal Government Regulations and company policies related to contract compliance and administration. Responsibilities include preparing essential documents, maintaining accurate records, and working closely with teams across the organization to support contract management processes.
Position Responsibilities
- Administer, negotiate, and manage contracts from proposal stage to contract close-out, ensuring full compliance with contractual obligations and applicable regulations
- Review, interpret, and guide internal stakeholders on contract requirements, terms, and conditions
- Prepare and maintain all contractual records and trackers according to company policies and contract requirements
- Ensure contract deliverables are met, track key milestones, and proactively manage contract modifications or amendments
- Stay current with FAR, DFAR, and other government contracting laws to ensure compliance with federal procurement regulations
- Review solicitation requests to ensure compliance with legal, financial, and regulatory requirements
- Support cost proposal preparation, including pricing analysis, risk assessment, and scheduling details
- Assist in preparing Firm-Fixed Price (FFP), Cost-plus-Fixed Fee (CPFF), and Time and materials (T&M) pricing strategies for RFP proposals
- Review and approve prime contract invoices and coordinate with the subcontract manager to ensure accurate billing and adherence to contract terms
- Coordinate with program managers and business units to ensure contract requirements are fully understood and fulfilled
- Provide strategic advice and interpretation of contractual obligations to support business operations and risk management
- Participate in special projects to improve contractual, financial, and business operations
Job Qualifications & Experience :
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, Legal Studies, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
- At least 5 years of experience in contract administration, preferably in government contracting or defense industries
- Strong knowledge of FAR, DFAR, and government contract compliance
- Experience with various contract types, including FFP, CPFF, and T&M contracts
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple contracts simultaneously
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with internal teams and external stakeholders
- Must be available to travel 10-15% of the time
- Must have a US security clearance or be able to obtain a US security clearance
The pay for this role can vary from $69,865 to $87,332 a year based on the selected individual's education and experience.
