Job description

This is a remote position.

Job Highlights:

40 hours per week
Monday to Friday
8 AM to 4PM, 9 AM to 5 PM, 10 AM to 6 PM EDT
30 minute paid break

Job Details:
As a Payroll Analyst,  you will be a member of the Finance team working to ensure accurate and timely payroll reconciliation and accounting operations. In this role, you will contribute to the financial health and efficiency of our organization, laying a key role in supporting our growth. Responsibilities:
  • Payroll Management
  • Prepare and reconcile payroll entries for 11 (and growing) schools as well as headquarters.
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance with relevant payroll regulations and internal policies.
  • Collaborate with finance and HR to resolve payroll discrepancies.
  • Accounting Functions
  • Prepare and record month-end prepaid income entries.
  • Prepare and record prepaid expense entries.
  • Log and manage depreciation schedules for organizational assets.
  • Accurately book and reconcile insurance expenses.



Requirements
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
  • A bachelor's degree in accounting (preferred)
  • 2-5 years of experience in the accounting field
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work cross-functionally and meet deadlines
  • A highly detail-oriented and organized approach
