We’re looking to add an early-career, motivated problem solver for our project management team, ideally with 2-5 years of post-college experience and a track record in cross-functional technology projects. The PMO supports functions like Platform, Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, AI & ML, and Enterprise Data Solutions.
Our Technology Project Managers deliver FactSet's tech stack value to clients, requiring technical literacy and agile leadership across organizations. This high-exposure role involves collaborating with leaders in engineering, operations, and business units, ensuring effective teaming for critical project delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Support/lead cross functional project teams to deliver business critical enterprise technology initiatives.
- Comprehend and utilize waterfall and agile PM methodologies to manage multiple projects delivering FactSet Technology objectives.
- Create presentation material and lead stakeholder reviews of assigned efforts to ensure stakeholder input, drive progress, foster teaming, identify and resolve risks.
- Report to key executive sponsors, stakeholders and team members on project status, progress, and risk including continually managing project expectations.
- Understand and support building metrics, KPIs and OKRs to measure, monitor, and report progress of projects and strategic initiatives.
- Identify areas for continual improvement in process and execution.
- Monitor project resource demand and capacity, highlighting areas of concern.
- Communicate goals, roles, responsibilities, and desired outcomes to cross-functional project teams to gain buy-in and deliver to project schedules
- Create and deliver appropriate update tools and templates for progress reporting.
- Support Technology division portfolio activities, including project management tool governance, demand management, project management best practices; support operations related projects/initiatives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree required
- 2-5 years’ experience and responsibility in delivering critical business initiatives and/or technology projects.
- Self-motivated, highly proactive, problem solver, agile thinker, fast learner.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building relationships at all levels.
- Skilled independent worker with ability to thrive in remote settings, managing schedules across time zones.
- Adaptable to ambiguity and frequent change, understanding project methodologies (agile, waterfall, hybrid).
- Proficient in prioritizing, managing multiple projects, and meeting deadlines with attention to detail.
- Strong analytical skills with financial acumen for budgeting and expense management.
- Strong computer skills with ability to quickly learn internal tools. Confident in use and understanding of typical enterprise tools including MS Office, Teams and other core applications.
- Ability to create meaningful management updates, presentations, reports, etc. Mural, other visualization tools and advanced Excel a plus.
Highly Desired Skills:
- PMP and / or Agile certifications are a plus.
- Experience with Targetprocess and Jira PPM / collaboration tools.
- Ability to identify process improvement opportunities and experience in process definition and mapping
The budgeted salary range for this position in the states of Connecticut and New York is $75,000 - $90,000.
