The Internal Programs Manager is responsible for the successful delivery of programs and projects in close collaboration with business partners and stakeholders, team members, and various IT functions. This role is responsible for large strategic programs consisting of multiple projects that support the ongoing development & evolution of the IT organization.

The role assumes responsibility for all aspects of successfully delivering the agreed scope of work – from strategic planning and stakeholder alignment to development of materials and execution of events & activities that help achieve overall objectives.

Operationally, the Internal Programs Manager will provide process leadership and support others in structuring projects and communications, and consult and lead in process improvements. The Internal Programs Manager is an integral role, expected to be fluent in products/services being developed, and make recommendations to the leadership team for collaborative decision-making on overall approach.   

Strategic Planning & Executive Support

  • Manage executive priorities, schedule, and communications to maximize leadership effectiveness
  • Create and maintain leader dashboards to track key performance indicators and business metrics
  • Prepare and review materials for meetings, leadership reviews, and stakeholder presentations


Program & Project Management

  • Lead cross-functional initiatives from conception to completion, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and needs
  • Develop comprehensive project plans with clear scope, timelines, resources, and success metrics
  • Identify potential risks and dependencies, creating mitigation strategies to ensure project success
  • Implement project management methodologies and best practices appropriate to organizational needs
  • Track project progress, manage scope changes, and communicate status updates to stakeholders


Operational Excellence

  • Identify operational inefficiencies and implement solutions to streamline processes
  • Establish and maintain documentation for key workflows and procedures
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance organizational effectiveness


Team Leadership & Collaboration

  • Foster strong cross-departmental relationships to break down silos and promote collaboration
  • Facilitate effective meetings with clear agendas, action items, and follow-up protocols
  • Create communication channels that ensure transparency and alignment across the organization

Salary/ Wage Range

$91,000.00 - $133,700.00 / year

Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience and may fall outside of the range shown.
