Job Description 

As a technical consultant, you will work on implementation aspects of client implementation or migration projects.  You will use your skills, knowledge and experience to contribute to the success of the project.  You will collaborate closely with the Project Manager and Technical Lead to ensure that the project tasks are executed according to expectations, technical challenges are addressed timely, and the project objectives are met within the defined constraints. 

The candidate should possess basic technical knowledge of at least one of the leading content management platforms. The candidate will be a technical consultant for implementing, migrating, unit testing and documenting ECM solutions for a wide range of clients based on provided user requirements. Understanding good documentation practices is helpful.   

This role requires good verbal and written communication skills, and the candidate must have the ability to converse with people from all levels within a global organization. We are looking for a creative and dedicated individual who will fit with our collaborative culture.   

Responsibilities 

  • Implementation and Migration – Work on the implementation and migration of technical solutions and applications that fulfill the client’s needs. This can include but is not limited to customizing and configuring software applications, configuring migration utilities and creating additional supporting scripts to fulfill migration scope, executing unit testing as required, as well as offering technical support and troubleshooting assistance within the project scope. The technical work will be related to one or multiple of our partner platforms (Veeva Vault, OpenText Documentum, Generis CARA). 

 

Requirements

 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field. 
  • Basic (2+ years) knowledge of at least one Life Sciences Content Management System such as Veeva Vault, OpenText Documentum and/or Generis CARA, including but not limited to administration, configuration, customization. 
  • Experience with content migration processes and API based ETL utilities preferred. 
  • Database experience including knowledge of Oracle and MS SQL Architecture; ability to write complex SQL statements; application-level DBA experience helpful. 
  • 1+ years’ experience in the Life Sciences industry or consulting, specifically in the Regulatory, Clinical or Quality area, preferred. 
  • Proficient consultative skills. 
  • Strong problem-solving abilities. 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions, multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Superior time management skills. 
  • A self-motivated and results-oriented mindset, with a focus on achieving targets and driving client satisfaction. 
  • Experience collaborating in global project settings.
