Job Title: Lead UI Engineer
Location:
Remote (EST Time Zone)
Salary Range:
up to 3500 USD

Work Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM (EST)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a Lead UI Engineer with a unique blend of design expertise and advanced front-end development skills. This role is ideal for someone who started in design, developed a passion for coding, and has mastered browser engines, parallel data fetching, processing, and rendering.

As a technical leader, you will drive front-end architecture and framework decisions, mentor a team of full-stack developers, and ensure the delivery of exceptional user experiences for complex financial applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the front-end architecture and framework strategy.
  • Guide and mentor full-stack developers on best practices in front-end development.
  • Build high-performance user interfaces for data-intensive internal dashboards and portals.
  • Optimize browser rendering, data fetching, and processing workflows.
  • Ensure scalability, security, and performance in front-end solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including backend engineers and product designers.


Qualifications:

  • Strong experience in React/Redux, GraphQL, TypeScript, and Figma.
  • Deep understanding of browser engines, rendering performance, and front-end architecture.
  • Experience building data-intensive applications in fintech or investment-related domains.
  • Strong knowledge of finance, investments, and industry-specific terminology.
  • Ability to lead and mentor a team of engineers.


Nice-to-Haves:

  • Experience with Shadcn and Storybook.
  • Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Some exposure to backend services.
  • Previous experience in fintech or private fund environments.
  • Experience managing a small team of 2-3 engineers.
