Responsibilities:
  • Reports to the QA Engineer Lead and works with the QA team to build appropriate test plans that meet client targets and performance goals.
  • Contribute to improving Ludi’s quality goals by analyzing the current solution, recommending improvements, designing, and helping the team implement a comprehensive test strategy to meet the company’s quality goals.
  • Responsible for designing and implementing automated and manual tests, debugging, and corrective actions. The QA Engineer will work closely with the product development team to understand the system requirements and functionality.
  • Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
  • Identify, record, and document bugs thoroughly and track them in Ludi’s agile project management solution.
  • Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
Desired Skills & Experience:
  • A bachelor’s degree, preferably in business or computer science
  • 3 years’ experience in the SaaS world, ideally in a healthcare role. Work history in smaller early-stage companies a plus as is knowledge of PHP and Agile development shops. 
  • 2-3 years’ experience with automated testing tools, experience with Playwright/JavaScript or similar toolset preferred (Cypress, Selenium)
  • Quality experience in large-scale SaaS application as well as testing and code quality tools and frameworks
  • Proven problem-solving and relationship-building skills required to create and maintain internal relationships.
  • Comfortable working remotely and at ease with shifting priorities, unknowns, and self-guided direction
  • Proven ability to think creatively and critically, innovate new concepts, and partner with senior stakeholders and staff across the enterprise as part of an egoless team focused on results and outcomes.
  • Articulate, resourceful, and comfortable communicating effectively with individuals from every part of the organization at all levels.
  • Excellent project management and organization skills
  • Proven ability to articulate technical details concisely in both written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to manage and execute complex test scenarios.
  • Responsible for creating testing artifacts, including but not limited to test cases, test scripts, test conditions, and expected test results.
  • Responsible for mapping test cases to business requirements and functional designs.
  • Creating and reviewing testing deliverables.
  • Documentation of test execution results.
  • Documentation of defects.
  • Attend stand-up meetings with the project team and provide detailed analysis when requested.
  • Perform required performance testing preparation/execution activities.
  • Perform required testing automation preparation/execution activities.
  • REMOTE position but MUST reside in the United States.
