Job description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through rigorous testing and validation processes. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify issues, improve processes, and deliver high-quality software solutions to our customers.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure software quality.
  • Perform manual and automated testing to identify bugs, defects, and performance issues.
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and designers to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.
  • Design, implement, and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts.
  • Conduct regression testing, functional testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Document and track defects using bug-tracking tools 
  • Analyze test results and provide detailed reports to stakeholders.
  • Continuously improve QA processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in software testing and quality assurance.


Requirements
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in software quality assurance.
  • Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, TestNG, or similar).
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Skills:
  • Knowledge of API testing tools (e.g., Postman, SoapUI, Insomnia).
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • ISTQB or other QA certifications are a plus.
