TE Connectivity's Quality Assurance Teams are responsible for all or part of an organization's Quality Management System, including conformance and continuous improvement initiatives. They work on systemic evaluation of products, services, facilities, manufacturing or business processes, to ensure that standards of quality are being met. Develop and implement quality plans, programs and procedures using quality control statistics, lean manufacturing concepts, and six-sigma tools and analyses. They reviews, analyze and report on quality discrepancies, investigate problems and executes quality audits, and develops disposition and corrective actions for recurring discrepancies. The team works closely with manufacturing, engineering, customers, or suppliers and subcontractors to ensure requirements are met.

Your main tasks:

Fault analysis:

  • Carrying out fault analysis for internal and external faults and supplier complaints for all products
  • Determining potential for improvement Defining measures in collaboration with the process owners, development, purchasing and work preparation and tracking the measures
  • Implementation of process capability analyses and projects for the continuous improvement of product quality
  • Definition and introduction of corrective measures regarding quality risks and problems in all production areas at the plan

 

Product audits:

  • Carrying out product audits on submission
  • Production inspection
  • Documentation of deviations in production
  • Collaboration in problem solving

 

Processing customer complaints:

  • Collaboration on customer complaints and creation of 8-D reports
  • Determine corrective measures with the team and monitor their implementation
  • If necessary, assemble and lead a task force to process deviation

 

Processing supplier complaints:

  • Collaboration on supplier complaints and their evaluation
  • Determine corrective measures with the supplier and monitor their implementation
  • If required, assemble and lead a task force to process deviations
Your ideal profile:
  • Bachelor or Masters degree in the field of electrical engineering
  • Minimum 5 years of work experiences in the Quality area
  • Good understanding of quality assurance and quality management processes
  • Strong initiative, high level of social competence and excellent teamwork and communication skills
  • Organizational skills
  • Careful and independent way of working
