Job description

Our US-based client is seeking a Computer Vision Engineer with expertise in semantic/instance segmentation to join our team. As a Computer Vision Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing advanced dental diagnostic systems using state-of-the-art computer vision techniques. Your primary responsibility will be to design and implement instance segmentation algorithms to accurately identify and classify dental problems from X-ray and dental imagery.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement segmentation algorithms for dental image analysis.
  • Utilize deep learning frameworks and computer vision libraries to train and fine-tune models for accurate dental problem detection.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and define system specifications.
  • Evaluate and select appropriate data preprocessing techniques for dental image analysis.
  • Optimize and improve existing computer vision algorithms to enhance accuracy and performance.
  • Conduct thorough testing and validation of developed models to ensure reliability and robustness.
  • Stay up to date with the latest advancements in computer vision and dental imaging technologies.
  • Document and present research findings, methodologies, and algorithmic approaches to internal stakeholders and external partners.


What You'll Be Doing:

  • Designing and implementing instance segmentation algorithms for dental problem diagnosis.
  • Collaborating with a team of researchers, engineers, and dental professionals to define system requirements and objectives.
  • Preprocessing and augmenting dental image datasets to improve model performance.
  • Training, fine-tuning, and evaluating deep learning models for accurate dental problem detection.
  • Analyzing and interpreting results to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
  • Keeping up to date with the latest research and advancements in computer vision and dental imaging technologies.
  • Documenting research findings, methodologies, and algorithms.
  • Presenting research and development progress to internal teams and external partners.


Requirements
  • A bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in computer vision, specifically in segmentation techniques.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and familiarity with deep learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
  • In-depth knowledge of classical computer vision algorithms (e.g., edge detection, image segmentation).
  • Strong understanding of convolutional neural networks (CNNs) and their applications in image analysis.
  • Experience in training and fine-tuning deep learning models for object detection and segmentation tasks.
  • Familiarity with dental imaging modalities, such as X-ray and intraoral cameras.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to present complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.



Benefits
1.  ​ Monthly Salary: Php82,000
2.   Salary will be paid on a bi-monthly basis on the 15th and 30th or 31st of each month
3.   You will be paid extra for overtime and Philippines public holidays
4.   Probation: 6 months and after Probation              

  •           10 days annual leave credits
  •           5 days of sick leave
5.   HMO Offered after 6-month probation
6. 13th Month Pay after 30 days

8. Laptop provided after 30 days
9.   Permanent work-from-home role. You will have to use your own internet.
10. SHIFT TIMES: 8AM to 5PM Philippine time, Tuesday to Saturday
