PowerUP is a not-for-profit that is building a scalable mentorship model for underprivileged youth. We work in partnership with senseis and community partners to bring martial arts to children who otherwise might not be able to benefit from these classes.
The driving theme behind PowerUP is that martial arts senseis can mentor 50 or more children at a time, and expose them to our three core values of Self-Regulation, Resilience and Respect.
We are a small shop aimed at bringing mentorship to underserved youth. The Operations Coordinator (OC) will be a partner in the future growth of the organization.
The OC will play a pivotal role in ensuring the organization runs efficiently by managing data, coordinating logistics, and supporting fundraising efforts. This position will be focused on tasks such as maintaining CRM databases, tracking attendance, organizing partner and student information, assisting with grant submissions, and streamlining operational processes.

PowerUP’s next OC will be someone who thrives on organization and loves keeping everything running behind the scenes. You enjoy creating systems and ensuring every piece of data is in its place. You’re comfortable working independently in a virtual environment while also collaborating with team members to support program delivery and fundraising.
PowerUP clientele come from a variety of backgrounds, but candidates who are bilingual in English/Spanish are encouraged to apply. Many of our students’ parents and guardians speak limited English, so Spanish language skills are highly valued.
PowerUP is based in Atlanta, GA, but is a virtual workplace and plans on keeping our operations virtual for the foreseeable future. The role is a full-time work-from-home role; however, preference will be given to candidates located in Atlanta or those willing to travel frequently to the area.

The salary for this position will be $36,000 annually and will include health benefits and a flexible work schedule.
