We currently have an exciting career opportunity for an
CCH Axcess Senior Specialist to join the team in our
Los Angeles office.
CohnReznick is a hybrid firm and most of our professionals are located within a commutable distance to one of our offices. This position is considered remote which means it does not require job duties be performed within proximity of a CohnReznick office location. However, as a remote employee, you may be required to be present at a CohnReznick office with scheduled notice for client work, team meetings, or trainings.
This position is for Tax Operations. Members of Tax Operations support the Tax Department. They do not perform tax work nor consult with clients.

YOUR ROLE.
Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To
- Assist Tax Operations and work with product vendors to support Professional use of various tax compliance software including the gathering of requirements for design and process improvements
- Participate in enhancing a multi-year roadmap and execution plan to ensure the Tax Department is supported by similarly world-class technology and supporting processes
- Assist with evaluating and implementing new business application software
- Assist with project plans and schedules for applications development, enhancement, and maintenance efforts. Work with other development and testing teams to coordinate activities
- Serve as a primary/secondary applications team contact with user groups and management
- Research tax issues and filing requirements that affect compliance within related software
- Communicate with internal customers, as appropriate, to ensure the delivery of high- quality systems
- Monitor the progress of each project/task. Communicate project status and issues
- Establish timelines and prioritization of work
Your Experience.
The successful candidate will have:
- Education: BS/BA accounting required
- Minimum of 5 years tax experience in a public accounting firm
- Solid working knowledge of tax returns (1065. 1120, 1040) including Consolidations
- Competence with tax compliance software for Wolters Kluwer CCH Axcess Tax. Experience with any of the following will be considered: Thomson Reuter GoSystem. Thomson Reuter GoFileRoom, , Wolters Kluwer CCH Engagement
- Solid organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to multi-task
- Strong written, verbal and non-verbal communication skills
- Ability to conduct formal and informal presentations
- Proven experience in managing multiple tasks/projects simultaneously
- Must be able to work in a dynamic environment and the ability to have agility to manage / change priorities
- Proven technical skills with MS Office to include Excel. Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams

In
California, the salary range for a
Senior Specialist is $105,000 to $135,000. Salary is one component of the CohnReznick total rewards package, which includes a discretionary performance bonus, generous paid time off, expanded and inclusive parental benefits, and access to best-in-class learning and development platforms, to name a few.
