Job description

Team Rubicon (TR) is seeking a Leased Employee, Recruiter to join our People Operations team! The Leased Employee, Recruiter will be responsible for identifying candidates through various channels, conducting initial screenings, and collaborating with hiring teams. The Leased Employee, Recruiter will provide insights on candidate selection, inform candidates about the role and company culture, and extend job offers while negotiating employment terms.

Every day will be a challenge, but every month brings new opportunities for an organization that is quickly becoming a household name in disaster response. This position reports to TR’s Deputy Director, Talent Management and can be based remote anywhere within the United States.

This is a temporary assignment lasting 3-6-months with potential for extension. The role will be managed through a third-party staffing agency partnered with Team Rubicon.

Project: TR People Operations Recruitment Support

Duration: March 2025 - June 2025

Expected Hours Per Week: 40

Duties:  

  • Identify and attract potential candidates through various channels such as job boards and sourcing.
  • Conduct initial phone screenings and interviews to assess candidates' qualifications, experience, and cultural fit.
  • Work closely with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and job requirements for each open role.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to hiring managers on candidate selection and hiring strategies.
  • Provide candidates with important information about the role, interview process, and company culture.
  • Extend job offers to select candidates and negotiate terms of employment.
  • Ensure all recruitment activities comply with company policies and legal regulations.

Experience and Background:  

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 2-4 years recruiting experience in a fast-paced environment (preferably within a complex scaling or high-growth organization or staffing agencies); or equivalent experience with demonstrated success building effective, front to back recruiting pipelines
  • Proficient with Microsoft Suite (Outlook, SharePoint, Excel, et al), LinkedIn, and various online sourcing methods and CRM/ATS tools (Greenhouse ATS preferred)
  • Experience handling sensitive information with discretion and a commitment to confidentiality and professionalism

Special Requirements:   

  • This is a contingent; remote position and can be based anywhere within the United States and provides a flexible & non-traditional work schedule (relocation expenses not provided)

Job Tier:   

  • Contingent; hourly; non-exempt

Pay Range:  

  • $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
