Job description

Overview:

The Contracts Manager is the perfect opportunity to expand your knowledge and skills supporting the full life-cycle of our contracts. You will provide support to Contracts Department on a full range of contracts, task orders and subcontract agreements. You will be responsible for the preparation, negotiation, and administration of agreements for customers and vendors.  This position is involved in complex contract project administration and subcontract management.

Responsibilities:
      • Negotiating and preparing Non-disclosure and Teaming Agreements
      • Perform prime contract and subcontract negotiations and administration functions in accordance with the FAR.
      • Negotiate terms and conditions, award subcontract agreements and close prime contract and subcontract agreements using related documents as necessary.
      • Draft related documents to support contract negotiations, administration and closeout.
      • Prepare, issue and respond to Requests for Quotation/Proposals/Task Orders from customer organizations.
      • Act as focal point for Government related contractual matters on assigned tasks.
      • Support assigned Program Manager on contractual matters relating to their programs.
      • Record and manage key contract information using various contract databases and systems.
      • Provide training both internal and external on contracting related topics.
      • Assist in managing and maintaining GSA schedules, if requested.
      • When requested, serve as training lead, and contract reviewer for other contracts support personnel as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree (business related field preferred) from an accredited college
  • 3 years of related experience in a government contracting environment, including 1+ years of experience managing or supporting GSA schedules preferred
  • Certified Federal Contracts Manager (CFCM) or Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM) desired with in-depth knowledge of the FARS and DFARS
  • Ability to receive and maintain a security clearance at the Secret level
